Do you use a digital calendar for work or for organizing your everyday life? You know the stress of seeing of a dozen events scheduled all on top of each other?
We are going to make the executives of KKR feel that way. As part of the defund CGL week of action We’re going to be sending calendar invites to KKR and some of the other top funders behind Coastal GasLink and we would love for you to join us. Here’s how you do it:
1. Open your calendar app, such as Gmail or Outlook. We’re going to be sending calendar invites to KKR and some of the other top funders behind Coastal GasLink.
2. Pick a time in your calendar between now and January 31st, make them recurring if you want. Title your meeting something like: “Stop Coastal GasLink” “Don’t fund climate disaster,” “Respect Wet’suwet’en rights” “Divest Coastal GasLink” or something similar.
3. Copy all of the following email addresses and paste them into the invite field of your event.
email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, Brandon.firstname.lastname@example.org, Robert.Antablin@kkr.com, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, Alberto.email@example.com, Ryan.Miller@kkr.com, Vincent.Policard@kkr.com, Julian.Barratt-Due@Kkr.com, firstname.lastname@example.org
4. Schedule a few ‘reminders’ for them and then click “send invitations”.
And then repeat! Hot tip: multiple invitations are more effective than long events. Bank executives will have to decline each and every invitation, making it impossible to ignore our calendar invitations.
Thank you and happy spamming.
